The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) informs you that access to and use of the website recruitment.icmab.es and all the subdomains and directories included under it (hereinafter, collectively referred to as the "Portal") are subject to the terms detailed in this Legal Notice, without prejudice to the fact that access to some of these services or content may require the acceptance of additional General Conditions.
CSIC reserves the right to make changes to the Portal without prior notice in order to update, correct, modify, add, or remove content or design. Since the information is not updated immediately, we suggest that you always check the validity and accuracy of the information, services, and content presented. Likewise, the conditions and terms in this Notice may change, so we invite you to review these terms when you visit the Portal again.
CSIC is not responsible for any damages that may arise from the use of the tools and information contained in recruitment.icmab.es in relation to decisions made on the initiation, development, or outcome of administrative procedures. Such decisions must be verified with the competent centers, organizations, or departments. In any case, the information and content on this website cannot be invoked in legal disputes with the Public Administration, and CSIC assumes no liability for any discrepancies that may exist between the printed documents from the competent Administration and the electronic publication on these pages.
Intellectual Property and Industrial Property Rights
Both the design of the Portal and its source code, as well as the logos, trademarks, and other distinctive signs that appear on it, belong to CSIC or collaborating entities and are protected by the corresponding intellectual and industrial property rights.
The information available on this website, unless otherwise indicated, is open for reuse, and its total or partial reproduction, modification, distribution, and communication for both commercial and non-commercial purposes is authorized, subject to the following conditions:
- The distortion of the content of the information is prohibited under any circumstances.
- The user is obliged to cite the source of the documents being reused.
- The user must mention the date of the last update of the documents being reused.

Privacy
The collection and automated processing of personal data collected through this website are intended for the management of the service requested by the user, as well as the monitoring of inquiries submitted. The legal basis for the processing is the consent of the data subject and its necessity for the performance of the public functions and missions of CSIC, which is responsible for the processing. It is not possible to provide a forecast for the deletion periods, as they will depend on the specific case and the service requested.
The regulation requires the publication of the inventory of processing activities by electronic means. In the Transparency section of the CSIC website, https://www.csic.es/es/el-csic/transparencia-y-gobierno-abierto, you can find the CSIC's Register of Processing Activities (RAT). Through the links provided in that section, you can access the RATs corresponding to the central organization of CSIC and the CSIC Centers and Institutes, which specify, for each processing activity, the identity of the controller, legal basis, processing purposes, data categories, deletion plans, and a general description of the technical and organizational security measures.
In accordance with Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and related legislation, CSIC undertakes to comply with the obligation of secrecy with respect to personal data and the duty to treat them confidentially after conducting the corresponding risk assessments, especially in accordance with the first additional provision of the LOPDGDD. The necessary security measures under the National Security Framework will be adopted to prevent alteration, loss, unauthorized processing, or access to the data.
The user may exercise their rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, limitation, or portability at any time by writing to the General Secretariat of CSIC at C/Serrano 117, 28006 Madrid (Spain), accompanied by a photocopy of their ID or via CSIC's Electronic Registry, located on its Electronic Headquarters, for which an electronic certificate will be required. The Data Protection Officer of CSIC can be contacted via the email delegadoprotecciondatos@csic.es.
CSIC reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy to adapt it to legislative, jurisprudential, or interpretative developments by the Spanish Data Protection Agency. In this case, CSIC will announce these changes, clearly indicating the modifications made in advance and requesting acceptance if deemed necessary.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The applicable law in the event of a dispute or conflict of interpretation of the terms in this Legal Notice, as well as any matter related to the services of this Portal, will be Spanish law.
To resolve any conflict that may arise from visiting the Portal or using the services offered on it, CSIC and the User agree to submit to the courts of the User's residence, provided it is located in Spanish territory.
