Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing several activities and actions, ensuring high quality and efficiency.
Main tasks
- Provide the directorship team with guidance and advice on equality and gender perspectives.
- Implementation, monitoring, evaluation and revision of the Equality and Inclusion Action Plan. Dissemination of its results.
- Management of a database of information on gender equality and needs of minorities.
- Organization of awareness and training campaigns on equality and inclusion.
- Sensitization, support and guidance of researchers in gender issues.
- Analysis of impact of R+D activities at ICMAB on gender equality.
- Prepare reports and statistics in the field.
- Support researchers in the explaining the gender dimension of their research in
applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Socio-Cultural Gender Studies, a Bachelor’s degree with a specialisation in gender studies, equality policies or diversity management (although other specialisations will be considered).
- Experience in equality plans, collection of gender indicators, evaluation of measures will be advantageous.
- Full command (advanced level) of English and Spanish, any other European languages desirable. Catalan will be advantageous.
- Practical experience in Human Resources and project management will be advantageous.
- Experience of work on Equality and Inclusion in research centers will be advantageous
